I smiled compound
The new compound I smiled uses a mixture with 3 different polymers, each of which provides specific performance qualities to achieve the optimal balance of the opposite characteristics, such as adherence and rolling resistance. Pirelli has taken advantage of the experience developed in over 100 years of Mescole development in Motorsport, always making its products run at the highest level in every discipline. This vast knowledge of R&D has allowed Pirelli to create a ternary polymer mixture with "intelligent" performance characteristics for bicycle tires as the basis of the exceptional properties of the mixed compound, which translates into a better adherence on dry and wet, also providing less rolling resistance. Pirelli has created a performing compound designed and developed for all modern cycling disciplines on the road, from local races or World Tour to epic adventures, where climate and road surfaces require performing tires in all circumstances.
