Technology

Bleeding Edge
With this new circuit of the pliers' fluid, the purge door has been moved to the bottom of the caliper and all four alveoli of the pistons can communicate. In this way, during the purge the fluid naturally fills the caliper, making the purge easier and more constant.

DirectLink
Sram's DirectLink leverage design produces a solid and positive feeling when the lever is crushed to graft the brake. It offers a freezoli solution for precise control.

Lever pivot bearing
The sealed precision bearings on the lever pivot improve the cleanliness and sharpness of the action of the lever and the feeling of lightness with a single finger.

Timing Port Closure
The synchronization door of a hydraulic brake is the connection between the tank and the lever cylinder hole. When the lever is pressed, a cup gasket crosses this area and closes the door, pressing the system. The closing system of the SRAM fault door is characterized by durable gaskets and an ultra smooth finish of the cylinder hole that produces a reliable and constant braking power.

Expandable Bladder
The new SRAM brake lever design includes a remodeled bladder that helps to adjust and reduce air bubbles. The bladder has a specific shape to evacuate the air from the lever and push the fluid exactly where it is needed. The result is a better discharge of the counterpression, which produces reliable braking power and constancy.
