The new NX Eagle™ rear derailleur uses the proven SRAM X-HORIZON™ design designed specifically for single speed. The larger, 14-tooth rear derailleur pulley creates the necessary capacity for Eagle™ cassettes (10-50 or 11-50 teeth) and contributes to the smooth operation of the NX Eagle. ROLLER BEARING CLUTCH™ Type 3 vibration damping ensures consistent, quiet and reliable shifting performance.

Roller Bearing Clutch offers maximum stability to the derailleur even on the most uneven terrain. With Roller Bearing Clutch technology, chain skipping and falling are eliminated without sacrificing precision.
X-Horizon
The X-Horizon right-parallelogram design of the rear derailleur limits any movement on the horizontal axis, preventing possible phantom shifts and reducing the force required for shifting. For faster and more precise sprocket changes, the wider upper pulley keeps its distance constant with all sprockets.
